With its witty dialogues and scenes, this movie is going to leave you laughing and also thinking about life and age. Directed and written by Woody Allen, it’s an absolute must watch.
French Kiss (1995)

Have you seen the movie ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’ released in 1998? French Kiss is the movie it was “inspired” from. This movie is filled with funny sexual innuendos that will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. Plus, this movie is based in Paris, the love-city, which enhances the portrayal of a couple’s platonic relationship journey to becoming a romantic one, while journeying through the beautiful countryside of Paris.
Leap Year

Starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, this is another movie where the couple goes on a journey through the countryside of Ireland. It is during this trip, that they realise their feelings for one another. In this movie, the character of Amy Adams is high maintenance, confused and clumsy, and the character of Matthew keeps on making fun of her character throughout the movie, which adds a tone of slapstick humour.
Pretty Women

I am sure, this movie is going to be on all the lists of top rom-com movies, and yes, it is on this one too. Pretty Women is one of those classy and funny movies that makes it a perfect watch for a lonely Saturday night when one has the liberty to hop into a dreamy world of movies where Richard Gere is still young. Additionally, Julia Roberts’ free, funny and innocent expressions will brighten up your Saturday.
Benny & Joon (1993)
Movie Trailer:

This is one of my favourite rom-com movies. Starring Johnny Depp and Mary Stuart Masterson, it tells the love story of a differently abled girl and a man who can’t write or read. The entertaining, spontaneous and effortless performance by Johnny Depp is sure to distract you from your lonely existence.
Roman Holiday (1953)

Yes, I know, it’s a very old movie, but it’s a classic. It’s hilarious and with an ending that is quite forward of its time. Let Audrey Hepburn charm you with her performance as a princess who wants to run free.
10 Things I Hate About you:

There are two reasons that this movie is on this list! First, Heath Ledger is in this movie; second, one of my favourite rock band’s, Cheap Trick’s song is covered at the end of the movie. And yes, of course, this movie is a rom-com. This movie is centred around a nerdy guy who wants to get with the most popular girl in school, but, you guessed it, there are obstacles. The fun part begins when this guy nerd guy and his friends plot an elaborate scheme to get her. Then, things don’t go as he plans or do they?
Mr. & Mrs. Smith

We are big fans of comedy-action movies, basically, all Jackie Chan movies. But when I saw this movie, it went beyond my expectations. This movie not only contains comedy and action but also romance, between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Movie Trailer:

This is one of the wittiest movies that I have ever seen, as you may have guessed from its title. Starring Hugh Grant, this movie will serve you well on your boring weekend. Further, we like this movie not only for its humorous and witty dialogues and situations but also for lovely romantic scenes, watch it know what I mean.
Bewitched

This movie is based on the series by the same name, Bewitched, that ran from 1964-1972. Starring the beautiful Nicole Kidman, this movie has not only moments of romance and humour, but also an element of magic, which makes it a one-of-a-kind movie.
Watched All Of These? Here Are Some More Options:
Parent Trap, Under the Tuscan Sun, Julie & Julia, You’ve Got Mail, Music and Lyrics, Bridget Jones’s Diary, 50 first kiss, Two Weeks Notice.
I would suggest you watch these movies even when you are not alone, with your special someone, family or friends. These movies make a perfect watch for a date night in or for a fun girls/guys night stays.
